Report it stolen!
Looks like you’re in California at the moment.

I'm offering sympathy and a decode report. There may be some more data under the stuff in the middle of Line 3 from the top. Note that the VIN & FenderTags agree that the original engine was a 318. Other readers: I need more examples of '67-'68 MoPar fender tags to help expand the coverage of my free decoder to those cars. Especially those tags from loaded cars. VIN adds to the complete picture but not necessary for decoding the fender tag.I’m asking the Georgia/Mopar community for help.
This 1966 Charger appears to be my vehicle. By appears to be, I mean matching VIN and Tag.
I purchased it from the prior owner, Gary, a few years ago and have documents proving ownership.
It was stored at a shop in Georgia, and when I recently arranged to have it picked up, I was told the shop no longer had it and that it had been towed away with several other vehicles the day before it was scheduled to be transported elsewhere. As the city was the one who originally complained about the project vehicles, they assumed it was the city. As i was not notified nor does the city have it listed as impounded at any point, im presuming it was not taken by the city.
The car is now being posted for sale on Reddit and Facebook Marketplace by this individual, but he has not responded to my messages on either platform. I am currently out of state and am trying to understand what my lawful options are to recover the vehicle.
Is anyone in the Georgia area able to help make respectful contact with him, ask him to respond, or point me toward the right local resources? I am not asking anyone to harass or threaten him. I am simply trying to get communication started and recover my car properly.
This car has a lot of personal meaning to me, and I would deeply appreciate any help, guidance, or local direction.
