Ok , Need help . Do to push rods to short, I bought new Smith bros, with #1 at Tdc , I installed rods, I 2&7 , E 4&8, I 1&8 E 3&6 , when going E 6 , it was too long, could not get it under at the right angle. I left it and did all the rest. They are perfect, 2 threads showing as what I wanted. I went back and started at the beginning , when I got to E 6 ,the same, maybe a 16 th to long. Hoping it is a simple fix , but thought I would ask before I do it wrong. Hope I explained it so it makes some sense. Using the old push rod which is about a 1/8 shorter, it would work, but I am sure it is something I need to fix? Lifter, rocker ?? Thanks

OK , do not need help. Found the problem. The lifter was not machined correctly, will call Comp Cam Monday to see if they will stand behind it .
