Hemi Six Pack?

You would think it would have problems leaning out without the outboards kicked in.. that'd be cool to see though. And damn a hemi 340 would scream!

Car Craft did an article on the Stage V hemi head conversion, looked pretty damn cool
http://www.carcraft.com/techfaq/ccrp_0809_building_hemi_for_less/viewall.html

I remember that article from 2009, I even considered doing my original 383ci with the Stage V conversion at one time, just to mess with peoples brains...LOL... turned out to be about $8000 for the total set up, plus what ever you need or already have in the short block.... pistons are a big expense too they need to be custom made about $100 a hole....

I wonder how a low deck 451 Hemi would run with some Laroy ported heads. hmmmmmmmmm

Yeah I was thinking the same thing, I'd bet Jim & Cody could work wonders with them... may my long time head porter & friend Mark Lowe RIP... when these head subjects about heads come up, I think about him, he was a great car guy, loved exotics, German cars, many forms of racing, he even raced a 4 banger Datsun 510 in Street Stock in local Nascar series, just to be different, he did pretty well too, he was tremendous help & a good friend...

INDY makes that mod intake with choice of tops,or I'll sell you a rat roadster base with no top and you can fabricate a 6 bbl top:blob8:

yep it does exist, here's one custom made too... another from Mopar Performance {photo from Mancini Racing MP-P5153738 $510.95} has the same spacing, linkage, air cleaner, element & carbs used as the 440-6bbl

OK I got to ask.....that red valve covered "Hemi" the inner 2 spark plugs are seriously CLOSE together, and it still has "Mopar" on the valve cover, what in the hell gives on those heads?

This is the first time I've seen these "Red Hemi" valve covers, the shape and such are VERY close to the others I've seen BUT this is the first time I've seen the spark plugs so close together in the center of the head.....Can someone shed some light on this?

I think you could get the "rat roaster cross-ram base" {that had a removeable top like the STR's like example below for the wedges, with a 6bbl/six-pack top too, I remember seeing one, can't remember if it was a prototype or custom top or not, but I do know they were/are out there...

just when i thought you couldnt make a HEMI any sexier....AND THERE IT IS WOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!!!!

In what way? The "look" of the Hemi, or the mere fact it has Throttle Body 6 pack looks?

I'm merely trying to figure out the heads on that Hemi being the inner 2 spark plugs are so close.....
