Hemmings Drive Home IV Epic Classic Truck Trip

Jesus Chysler. I spent a year in Houston. I would not take the R/T there. When water subsides, it’s pothole city. Awful conditions for any automobile.

Back in the early-mid 80s, I drove my 68 Hemi Charger everywhere; Boston to the Chrysler Proving Grounds twice (in the heat of the summer), to Pittsburg & all over New England. No way in hell I'd want to do those kind of trips today in it. Today's comfortable cars with a/c & satellite radio have spoiled me.

I’ve got ac, satellite, and comfy seats from an 89 FWD Daytona in the 69. Only thing exclusive to mine is Linda bitching from the passenger seat.

I'm looking forward to doing an epic road trip in a motor home a few years down the road.
Ha! Sounds like a Robin Williams movie. My aunt and uncle owned 3 motor homes and rented them out in the 70s and 80s. They sold 2 after getting tired of the cleaning and maintenance.

Their's had a sign on the back like you would see on a boat naming it the Fantastic Orgasm. Us kids knew better than to come knockin when the RV was rockin. :monkeyleft:

Motorhome trip Movies: We’re the Millers.
The Leisure Seekers.
I haven't seen those. Just the one by Williams called RV. After watching the trailers I may watch the one where Anniston takes her clothes off but the one about Alzheimers looks depressing.
