hey..it's a MOPAR too....

Thanks guys, I was unaware of those issues. What sort of pricing do you guys feel would be fair for those items? And...do u have any interest or know somebody who might?

id be interested in the oil pan/pickup-w dipstick and the motor mount brackets..
But,as far as prices,it seems im stuck in the 80s,
itd be better if we got someone elses thoughts.
as an aside,i can buy a nonrunner 400 -auto trans 2wd combo with these same items for 300 bucks locally.

the 4wd trans is a hard piece to find,
i have 1,myself,and i dont want to sell it.
try advertise it on the ramcharger forum.
id think 300 or More ! ? wouldnt be unreasonable
and i might be low as well on that estimate.

Can't speak for the transmission, but a new Milodon pan, 3/8 pickup, and dipstick is north of $400. I know it's not a Milodon or new, but try to find one when you need one. Mine is going nowhere for less than $100. Unless a friend needs one or trades me for something I need.
There is (just like us), a whole cult like BB truck group living silently among us.

I found my '80 step-side by searching craigslist for "440".

$800!

Agree about truck specific BB parts, as I'm in the same boat.

I scored a used milodon car pan at Don Garlits for $40 and a matching pickup on ebay for $25.

Mine has truck specific headers.

I gotta disagree on prices going through the roof.

Unless it's super, super nice or "rare" like an LRE (and some of those are still cheap) Macho, club/crew factory big block.....

They are all over craigslist for 1500 and less.

In fact, if you like 72-80 trucks, now is a GREAT time to buy.

The 81-92 are even cheaper unless cummins powered.

love those stepsides, lotta people dont but, they are different.
you gotta great deal there for 800!

as far as prices going thru the roof,i was speaking of the Suv-s,
like the ramcharger,bronco,blazer,and cherokees.
( reg pickup trucks are always around, always cheap. )

these suvs, are staggeringly pricey and unless you are into rotboxes,
theres not many nice ones on the eastern side.
i looked at your location and chuckled,as we have even scoped fl listings!

in fact yesterday i bought another one,84.
another 6 hour trip, and another project...yay me! lol.

Ghost;
You could NOT have gotten a better farm truck!
Now you can set up a "plow" for the snow-time and save that McCormick tractor of yours for "farming"

Nice score Ghost, good luck with what ever you end up doing/selling

maybe post the stuff over on www.Fortrucksonly.com a sister site
post it in the Dodge section
