Hello all,
I have a Powermaster 95A alternator in the Charger. The Charger is very electron hungry with Classic Air A/C, twin SPAL 4000cfm fans, decent radio, dakota digital gauges etc etc. While driving around, the alternator keeps up quite well. On a hot day with A/C and fans running, the voltage will drop to 12v at idle.
Should I be looking at a higher output alternator or keep the current one and switch to a smaller pulley?
I'm not sure what's the experience with the smaller pulley, does it burn the alternator in the long run?
Thanks for any help
