Ok but the lock is supposed to be "natural" finish.. I just did not want waste time hunting for it if that was unacceptable..

I can "make" it natural. I live in Buffalo, NY. If you leave something "natural"; it will be a rusted pile of crap overnight.

Here is the cable hood lock latch.. Works nice and the metal from what I can see through the paint is not pitted....

Looks good. I can soak it in aircraft paint remover. What do you need for the plate, spring and latch?
