Very cool...those are very valuable, even in that condition.

IIRC, Rick is a 65 A body guy-

This one's even harder to find for a decent price than the RR.

Those AW die-casts are VERY nicely done.

Wheel and tires not too wide, nice proportions, details not too thick.

Walmart usually stocks about a dozen on the shelves for $5, but they NEVER seem to have certain releases. The best deals I've gotten from ebay have been about $9 shipping included for un-carded examples in EC.

It's also nice to see them doing something other than 70/71 e body and 68-70 B.

They have 70/71 Swingers, and 73 Rallye Challengers as well.

M2 has a really good 71 Charger, in R/T, and SE with a flat hood, both with and without hidden headlights. Greenlight also has a nice 71 Charger, and M2 has a nice 69 Barracuda.

condition is what it is.. these were hand painted with candy laquers back in the day.. these were also submitted for approval for production.. and Thank you

If your getting then out of Wally World you need to find out when the new ones hit the shelves. Some disapear real fast.

Got a red and a turquoise of those AW 64 Barracuda's, a red and a blue AW 71 Swinger, a couple of AW 74 Challengers, an orange M2 69 Cuda fastback and a really nice m@ 71 Hemi Cuda.

I've been pretty lucky to find all of these locally in stores without having to get them online.

And these tractor/trailer combos with the cars are pretty neat too!

66 Hemi Charger, a 68 SS/B Hemi Cuda, and a 71 Hemi Charger R/T....all with a ride to the track. :D

Hey, the Challenger is in green now...my friends is green. I got him a gold one , but green would be better.

Wonder why they're marketing them as the oddball years instead of the high production, arguably more desirable years 64 vs 65 Barracuda, and 74 vs 73 Challenger and RR?

One of the few detail discrepancies I've seen is that some 71 Swingers have the stripe but no scoops. I can't say I've ever seen one IL that way.

What I haven't seen in 1/64 is flat hood swinger without a stripe.

M2 also has 70 R/T and Super Bee with both the ramcharger and the pitchfork hood.
IIRC they also have a 70 442 post coupe with rolled up windows.

I've had my best luck at finding these at Fred Meyer stores, Hobby Lobby, and Toy'R'Us.

Every time I've been to Wally's World, the pickins were pretty slim.....

Are some of those repaints?

You can do a really good job with certain testors metal flake colors.

Some can't readily be distinguished from original.

That Matchbox Charger III looks like it has the original very common green chassis, however, I have seen a few in burgundy and even fewer in orange

I love some Hot Wheels. I have quite a few good Mopars, but not a lot of old ones, only a hand full mid 70s early 80s ones, and not near as many total as some of you guys. I started with Hot Wheels in the mid 80s when I was 5. My mom still puts the in my stocking every year for Christmas. My son gets them in his stocking too! And I get some from my wife...even if I have to buy them myself and give them to her! My grand mother, his great grand mother, sent him my Uncle’s old tracks and motorized garage when she found out he was in to them. He even named my car his “Hot Wheels”, and we even have a Hot Wheels medallion on the back. I have a big Hot Wheels Red Line flag in my garage. We are going to build a display for our “collection” in the garage as well. I will get some pics when I pull them out. Should be some time this spring/summer.
