You gotta hate that! When I was in high school, I had a 1959 TriPower Catalina. The frost plug on the back of the passenger side head started to leak. My mechanic simply cut a hole in the toe board, replaced the frost plug, and welded a patch on the floor. Done!

I have an 83 year old car buddy who has told me a similar story with a 68 Coronet (318 I believe) that he bought new. Head plug on the back started leaking after some years and he cut a hole in the firewall to replace it and patched it back With a plate.

A little elbow grease, something in the cup, and some Judas Priest on the box can do wonders!

I’ll do the front as well. Maybe I already did, but look how sad the car looked the day I got it, and how happy it looks today!
