How bad would an engine run if……

Check out David Freiburger's you tube channel when he bought a 72 roadrunner, it had a vibration at speed with a motor home 440.... Caused by wrong weights on the flywheel.

Edited to what I meant to say.

Before I figured out the problem, I had a 1977 trans from a 400 behind a 383.

Fine until 50 MPH, then terrible, I mean TERRIBLE shake that didn't go away until 110!

A 1st order engine vibration can be very detrimental and destructive to the engine’s bottom end. I wouldn’t ignore it.

Well new u-joints and balanced drive shaft and the vib is gone. I still get a small low frequency drone at 55+ but I am not worried about that so much as it’s not real noticeable. Bigger fish to fry kinda thing. I know some people chase that drone in perpetuity……kinda like purgatory lol.

Anyway thanks for the help gents!
