How Much Does Your B-Body Weigh?

6800, with a reasonable amount of beer, stove fuel, spare oil, tools, camping and fishing gear. The usual stuff.
Water tank full, fridge loaded, 3 batteries total, maybe two jacks, and other stuff.

While going through my old records last night looking for something else, by coincidence I stumbled across my time slips from 1986 for my 67 Charger. I remember weighing it, didn’t remember writing it down. Track scale. Car alone 4260 lbs. All original with AC. Trunk was empty (no spare, Jack, carpet…).

That is surprising.
I could see a Hemi model weighing more but a 383 or 440 automatic model?

So many weights. I forgot about shipping weight. Interesting "footnote":

Excuse me for asking, but have you recently removed 200 Lbs? the small print underneath your image reads 3675 Lbs. 3475 is good for such a car and set up.

Dudes that quote these unrealistic weights as gospel have a rude awakening. (Not you, Wayne...I know that you know better)
My "Ginger" '70 Charger was built as a 500 with a 318 and A/C. It tipped the scales at 3660 with the 318. 325 lb difference from the 3335 weight listed above. That was actually without hubcaps and not quite a full tank.
At 6.2 lbs a gallon, a 19 gallon gas tank adds 118 lbs.
Figuring high, oil is about 2 1/2 lbs per quart, 5 quarts adds up to 12 1/2 lbs.
Cooling system, 16 quarts at 2 lbs a quart, 32 lbs.
That adds up to about 153 lbs, still 172 lbs are unaccounted for.

I LOVE that car.

66 and 67 non-Charger B body cars are light compared to later B body cars.

I would guess being that the '66 and '67 Bel's and Nets share pretty much most of the front mug sheet metal and chassis with the Chargers, that that's not a factor at all.
Where the Chargers weight faults haunt the design, is from the door/roofline/rear quarter sail panels and back, where the Chargers look to be burdened with a lot of weight. Probably the lightest part is the deck lid itself.
Am I correct?
Agreed, the '66's and '67's are handsome cars.

Roof/C pillar in general is drastically different between 66/67 and 68-70.
So is the floor and gas tank.

I'm not sure what specifically it is, just that I have owned many 66/67 cars and they drive light and even push light compared to the two 70's I've owned and many other 68-70's I've been around as well as the 71-74 cars I've owned and been around.

All the A/C junk has to add up too?

The whole front grille and trim assembly , and taillight assembly probably add almost 100lbs over a 'Net
