Well I finally took the plunge and purchased a numbers matching barn find. It is a 1966 Satellite with the 361 and 727. It has the Commando badging with the console and tach. I would like to decode the fender tag to find out somemore information. Can anyone help with this feat? Thanks in advance for any and all help.
The second line reads:
A6, B5, D6, (if "p" is to the right of "n" like 1967)P6, U1
The forth line reads:
A5, B1, C5, R1, T7

TRM Code is P4B, Paint Code DD1 D

This is alot easier with a VIN or picture :/-welcome to the site...

I decoded my 66 Coronet with this Charger guide.

Some of the 67 stuff is the same as well

I learned my car was built to order and confirmed it was built without a radio.

Good luck.

My brother is working on a 361 Comando 66 Satellite.

Got pics?

Just picked up the car Saturday from Arkansas. I have wanted a classic Mopar for most of my adult life but figured I could not afford it. My dad had a 66' Plymouth Satellite 2DRHT, 426 Hemi, 4-speed car until 1973. I think that is why the car is dear to my heart. Of course mine is no hemi but it is a big block. I will load some pictures shortly. Oh thanks for the info.
