Hello,

‘Any help/suggestions is very much appreciated.

I’ve been working on a proverbial project car (69 Super Bee, auto) for a few years now. I’m in the middle of a full restoration of the interior, which is completely gutted.

some poor planning on my part, but I am soon to have a new concrete floor poured in the garage and so I have to move the car. The transmission is currently in park. Given the column shifter is not currently in the car, can someone explain to me if/how I can shift the transmission to neutral at the transmission itself..

I’m pretty green when it comes to the mechanical work, which is actually why I wanted the car as it gives me the opportunity to learn some things as I work with it.

Thanks!

The lever on the left of the trans where the linkage attaches. Click it back two clicks. That should put it in neutral. Just make sure the car isn't going to roll over you.

Thanks very much for the help (and the advice not to get squished). I got the car out of my garage and safely to another for a couple of months while my garage goes through a makeover.

Looking forward to being more active here when it comes back and I start putting everything back together.
