I feel stupid .... air bleeds..

OH MAN..... I was having issues with my carb.. and I figured it was the air bleeds . not wanting to idle and smelling rich and running like it was flooding even at 2,000 rpm's...and above..
So I cleaned them using a cleaned off wire twist tie.. and it worked one day .. tried it again and it worked for another day..
So today I tried again and just realized that there are 4 air bleeds in the primaries, I didn't see but two, I know of the 4 in the secondaries then today I saw the other two in the primaries hiding next to the center hump where the bowl vent is.. GGEEEEZZZ . I ran the wire down them and one WAS plugged and the other one was almost plugged...
Now it runs great again... YeaH....

It doesn’t hurt to spray some spray carb cleaner with a straw down those any time the car has been sitting for a while like over the winter.

Since you did not say, what carb are we talking about?? Holley, Carter AFB or AVS, Edelbrock/Carter remake.....just curious.....as each is different......
