I am up to buy my 1st Mopar - Dodge Coronet Superbee 1970. (viewing this Sunday)
Some parts aren't original.
I am on the level of gaining the necessary knowledge before the transaction.
The seller informs that car is in the registry under number #1957.
I know the meaning codes including Order#, the rest is enigmatic.
Can you help me decode the rest of the codes?
What is The Lower Body Paint?

Line Price - WM
Body - 23
Engine - N
Year - 0
Plant - A
Sequence# - 198166
Build Date - 203
Trans - D21
Order# - 224751
Options - N96

I don't know how to decode:
Body Paint - EF8
Interior Trim - H2XW
Lwr Boby Paint - EW1
Top - V1X

Kind Regards,
Rafal

VIN says it's a Super Bee 383 4 barrel. Go to mymopar.com there is more info.

EF8 is the body colour, dark green metallic. H2XW is black and white bench seat interior. EW1 is probably the upper door frame paint.(white). V1X is black vinyl top.

Look at vinyl top for bubbles, rust under vinyl. I don't how to detect it short of removing it.

Sorry for the lame question?
Is it possible to replace the plain painted UNORIGINAL roof for the vinyl one?
How it was changed in the first instance?

Yes you can put a vinyl on. Your going to need some trim at bottom of sail panel and maybe other places. Someone else could answer that.

Ok.
This can be done without a roof changing?
I mean, is the plain roof construction these same as the vinyl one?
Only add trims on top?
It sims like metal is flanged down for flush installation.
Picture only for example purpose.

Windshield A pillars might may have one each side. In my first answer asked about bubbling under vinyl top because of rust issues. The factory didn't prime or paint roofs of vinyl top cars is to save money. So putting vinyl top on a painted roof helps save the roof.
