Under the carpet and behind the rear seat should be a build sheet sandwiched between the springs hope it's legible there's one under the front seat springs I found 3 in my car and a cardboard piece with the info on it. You don't have to remove the covers and the under carpet one is neer the pass side and you have to pull the seat out to find it.

My 66 is P4T and ginger- actually bronze gold with ginger inserts, so the code is not 100% of the color for a given trim level.

That said, mine appears decidedly darker than yours, although IIRC the 500 models didn't have different color inserts.

...and with that said, even the gold looks darker than yours. I'd suggest yours might be P4Y

OK, P4Y appears to be "citron", which has a green tint.

Yours doesn't look like that in the pics.

This site can give you a good idea what a lot of the interior colors look like under various lighting conditions-

Mine looks like this...but with ginger inserts-

...and in case there's no build sheet (common), there's also a color tag on the carpet (if it's original), and one on the bottom of each seat belt. Those might not match the factory codes but could be crossed with others that have a known color interior.

I removed my rear seat a while ago.. there was no built sheet . The carpet....? The front floor panels were renewed ..
from the former owner... hope they didn´t found/ remove the build sheets. So I will check this out the next Weekend
also the carpets colortag I will search for.... Keep your fingers crossed !

@ YY1 my interiour looks like SADDLE but yours looks like mine....too...

My code is not P4Y ... as I wrote.. Saddle ...light brown ( like " cappucino " ) that´s what the color looks like...

Those door panels are not original - they have been re-upholstered. Looks like the seats too although they did a good job of replicating the pattterns. The colors are probably not correct. Go to the Chrysler Registry and request the IBM card (build card) to get your information. They should have it.

I'm guessing it is P4T

@ YY1... this Combo Looks good ! P4T

@ theman440 Thank you , I will try to get the CARD

@ all do you think the carpet isn´t original ??

Greetings Juergen

I almost suggested that.

The door panel looks just a little "puffy", and has some not so straight (but difficult to spot) seams.

...the "funny "Thing is.... the rear Panels look the same the fabrictrim is all the same seats...Panels front /rear....
Perhaps I have to look for a complete Interior set...i.e carpet / Panels /Seat front/rear... .. ??
and all matching in P4T....

Just a little more info - looks like you are missing the stainless trim that divides the vinyl and carpet on the front door panels. I can see they are present on the rear panels. Legendary has all the reproduction interior parts for the car (but not the stainless unfortunately)

Dead givaway on the panels is the sewn seams in the vinyl.

...yes the stainless trim is missing ( unfortunatly )....

what do you mean with "dead giveaway" ? Are the Panels not the right ones ?

Greetings Juergen

For what it's worth- I LIKE it, and cappuccino is a good description.

I guess you could say they are "right" because the patterns are correct, just not the correct color and are not original.

...so it would make sense to order a complete interior set from Dantes ?? Carpet, seat covers and door Panels
to make it "matching " to my paint ( ss Cream )

Greetings Juergen

That's what I did - Dante's will take good care of you as they did me.
