Just put a new motor in charger and finally got to where I could run it for first time today. Other than new motor nothing has changed other than a new coil and lengthening the two coil wires for the coil due to not being mounted on intake. All I have is a test light and have a weak signal to the coil when ignition is on. The ballist resister also got really hot during this test. Checked my other car with ignition on and have a much stronger signal on test light on other car. Also switched ballist resister from other car and have same result. Im limited to it just being me which makes it difficult to do some of these tests. I'm assuming due to the weak signal I have no spark. It got late so I did not have alot of time tonight. I am under the gun due to limited time. Any ideas?? Thanks in advance!

Try jumping straight from the ballast to the coil. Eliminate any wiring issue inbetween

Might be the stack up effect of multiple bad connections between where it originates and where it ends. Half a volt here, .3 there etc so by the time it gets to the end, its too low. At the minimum disconnect and clean the connections. Other than that its time for a wiring redo.

For starters, you need to use a multimeter instead of a test light. Get a voltage reading at the coil with the key on. Check your ground as well, not only at the coil, but ensure that you have a quality ground strap from the block to the chassis.
What type of ignition system are you running and how are you powering that ignition?
