After more than 8 years as a FABO member and having the opportunity to work with so many wonderful people these last few years, I believe it's time to branch out a bit more. Assuming that quite a few of you are already familiar with me and/or my work, I'm not going to launch a huge introduction and bore you all to tears.
I'm a Mopar parts restoration and custom one-off specialist with an emphasis on multi-colored custom powder coating work. My shop is located in northwest Tennessee -- NOT Phoenix!!! -- and will be celebrating its 6th Anniversary this Friday, May 31. I'll work on most any metal up to 6'9" and do not limit it to just Mopar parts (though that's what I do work on most).
I want you all to know that I've implemented a labor discount here on FBBO similar to that offered to FABO members. Gold FBBO Members are now entitled to a 10% labor discount while all others will enjoy a 5% labor discount across the board!
If you've never noticed my posts before, please take a few minutes to check out my website. Though I have almost a year's worth of new work and feedback to add [updates are long overdue, I know], you should be able to get a really good idea of what I'm capable of in just a couple minutes. I also added a few work samples to my FBBO Photo Gallery, including a couple "before" and "after" pics of the same parts so you can see the caliber of transformation for yourself.
PSC is not your "average" powder coating shop like you might have right around the corner. I don't oversee a huge staff of flunkies blasting parts and coating everything gloss black to get it out the door as quickly as possible. Rather, it's just me and my man Billy ... he helps me out with heavy blasting, welds up jigs and occasional blown valve cover bolt holes and handles the majority of the shop maintenance; the rest of running the business and doing the work falls only to me. As a result, turn around time is honestly pretty lame LOL ... but that's because I do everything personally and within my power to get your metal as close to perfect as I can unless I'm instructed to the contrary. I can occasionally handle rushes and shorter deadlines, and try to accommodate most everyone's build schedule.
I am not going to have my own Vendor forum on the site. Instead, I'll announce periodic specials in the General Discussion under their own threads.
I am also more than happy to answer any questions you might have right here in this opening thread. That way the information is available to everyone, and will be easy to find and refer to later on through a simple search for "powder coat" or "Phoenix Specialty."
Quotes are always free and are done on an individual basis to be fair to everyone since not all take care of their cars and parts the same way. They are also a lot more accurate if I have some decent pictures of your parts to look at. Please include close ups of any nastiness -- dings / dents / divots / damage / etc. -- as well as a note about your planned color scheme. (There is also a form on my website's Contact Us page if that's easier.) I presently bill at $25 per hour before your FBBO discount is applied. For a quote, please email me directly rather than posting your pictures and color scheme here. My shop's email address is
[email protected]
I look forward to getting to know everybody and to perhaps having a little hand in a few of your fine rides in the future! Thanks for having me!!! It's great to be on board.
