I have developed a very annoying noise inside my 69 Charger..It seems to be coming from the dash area and sounds like loud radio static although there is no working radio in the car

Might be a sick lights left on warning buzzer. You need to locate where the noise is actually coming from.

I used to have that happen back in the 80's in my '68.....until I broke up with her.

You may as well be asking "what color am I thinking of". Yet, I will give a complete wild *** guess without being able to hear it or having a more detailed description: Speedo cable needs lubrication. Good luck.

Might be speedometer cable needs lubed up. Or put a radio in and turn it up lol.

That actually came up once with a woman that I knew! Turn up the volume!
