Is my headlight motor fried??

Getting my headlights working for the first time and one of them (even on the bench with a charged battery) will only turn either way for a bit and then lightly spark at the contact point and stop, the other works fine and doesn't do this, it's not hooked to the car wiring yet but their mounted - you can hold off a few seconds and it will move a bit farther and maybe all the way to rested position. Does the motor need rebuilding or what?

I cant get phone to sync up with the laptop for a pic but its a 66 charger and the motor is all together so hopefully you'll know what it looks like thanks

Yes I saw the thread, I beleve his worked in only one direction, just hoping someone had the same experience as me with intermittent thing in both directions'
