It's so hard to say I love you when you're sitting on.......

Love Les Paul and appreciate all his contributions to music and the recording industry.

However, I find the full, thick Les Paul "Standard and Deluxe" guitars to be heavy and poorly balanced (for me).

I do own an Epiphone Les Paul "Special" which is the thinner body and much better of a balance IMO.

I also love Joe Walsh and finally got to see him live on the 2017 (last ever) Tom Petty tour (RIP, Tom).

Double-cut LP Jr FTW.

I prefer a Strat though, they just seem to fit me better with thin body and contour cuts.

I'm a Strat guy myself.

I have an '86 Charvel and a circa 2010 Schecter which play remarkably similar.

I wish I still had my '84 Squier Strat which was the last year Squier's were made from the same tooling.

I also have an Epi SG that's pretty comfortable. Same basic idea as a Strat just different execution.

Had a Strat that I got in the mid 60's and liked it. Dumb *** me traded it for a car in 1970 and it wasn't even a Mopar!
