After yet another rebuild, the car ran great for several hundred miles. So well in fact that I took it to the paint shop to have it sprayed. Drove perfectly on the way home for about 50 miles and then I roll up to a stop sign and it starts idling rough and generally being fussy. It never actually cuts off just acts like its going to at a stop. The minute I get on my street, the thing runs smooth as it did when I first got it on the road. Idles nice, doesn't fuss and I have no idea why. I'm done with this car as I don't have the kind of patience I used to. I took some pictures today and I was curious what y'all think it might be worth. It's a two owner 4 door car with a 318 automatic and has 77,200 original miles. I had the engine gone through and replaced every gasket and seal as well as the timing gears/chain, alternator, plugs, wires, coil and points. All new cylinders and soft lines for the brake system too. I don't think it's perfect by any means but it does present well and when it isn't fussing about the idle it actually drives right nice. I took some pictures too.

Some shots of the engine bay though I will point out that I've since gone back to using a mechanical fuel pump instead of the Carter electric I had. For whatever reason, the electric would work alright until I drove the car on a warm day. If I turned the engine off and tried to start it again within 45 minutes or so, it would crank immediately and drive for a minute or two and then cut off. The only way to get it to fire back up was to wait it out. I switched back to the mechanical just to see and it works great.

The original breather isn't in these shots but that is what I use when I'm actually driving the car. Also, the original radiator will go with it as well.

Oh there is a thread I started when I was trying to work out my carburetor troubles too if anyone is curious:

I didn't get much in the way of useful data on the Stromberg so I just rebuilt the carburetor again and it ran great up until the rough idle spell I had on the way back from the paint shop.

First off! I'd throw that rubber hose and regulator in the thrash! Use metal fuel line! Do you have a filter between the pump and carb? Next check the filter in the tank and clean the tank out. Sounds like it is vapor locking especially with all that make shift system. Looks like a decent daily driver!

I wasn't clear. When I posted "Some shots of the engine bay though I will point out that I've since gone back to using a mechanical fuel pump instead of the Carter electric I had. What I meant was that the car fires up just fine these days and that I no longer have the hot start issue. I no longer have the electric pump in place as pictured and rerouted the fuel line back as it was through the mechanical pump. There really isn't anything to diagnose so far as the hot start issue goes because I've already addressed it.

The only issue I have with the car is its questionable idle that happens intermittently and that's enough that I'm going to sell it. My primary goal in this thread was to find out how much was a fair price. The car isn't anything special, it was purchased to be a bare bones daily driver and I cleaned it up with that goal in mind but the idling issue makes it useless to me.

My bad for the poor communication in my original post.

Nice looking more-door... I paid 800 last month for my rust free '64 440 4 door 318/727 CO car with 74k miles but needing some major seat/interior work, if that's any indication.

That's is fairly helpful, thank you. The car would crush out for $600-$700 around here so I'd at least avoid the tire kickers.

Given the work it's had I'd expect it'd bring more than my car in any event, but so much depends on the local market in any given area. I'd say given the pics and description in the 1.5 to 2.5K range, just to hazard a wild guess. There's a similar condition 63 330 4 dr near here at $3K that has not had any takers in over 6 mos.
