jims auto parts??? need advise!!!

Has anyone ever bought any parts from www.jimsautoparts.com before? If so please give me some feedback because i despreatly need a front and rear glass seal and possibly a few other odds and ends at this website is the one of only two i have found that have those seals.

I have never bought from them personally but they have a bad rep and I understand the customer service (dealing with Jim's wife) is a whole other story. Slow to ship, won't return calls, etc.

I have been trying to get a Demon fender emblem from Jack's for 6 months now. They told me they would call once they received it from te manufacturer and they do seem sincere.

steele rubber products has everything you would need for any kind of seal. windshield pn is 40-0448-50 $165.70 back window pn is 40-0446-81 $145.10

Jims auto parts took my money and never sent my intake! I tried to resolve with them and ended up with the nasty woman yelling at me any time I called. They out and out lied to the credit card company and said that they shipped it and I recieved it. Basically turned into a he said she said. DONT BUY FROM THEM THEY ARE THE ROTTENEST APPLES IN THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow! Thanks for the heads up! Well it looks as if sled city has the 66-67 hemi hood scoop I want but is it a fair price $240?

240 seems like a lot for a scoop. I really dig the Hemi scoop though. I want to get one for my 66 Satellite but I would have buy a 'glass hood to because I couldn't bear to cut into my stock hood. That would make me unhappy.

I guess it depends on what style you want, there are several out there. 1966 did not have a FACTORY hood scoop. I bought one that was I believe $100. several years ago that has the same indented hood pattern of the 66 hood in the hood scoop.

If you are interested I can see if I still have the info of where I bought it. It had an inside flange that makes it nice for mounting and finishes it off nicely.

If you are strickly looking for a 67 WO type then that is another story.
