I like the 1970 year model taillights but the 1971 Grille looks better to me.

Just an update on Barry's engine for his 67 GTX that @eldubb440 did earlier in this thread. (By the way, this post is a duplicate from a post in What did you do to you Mopar today - just wanted to stick it here as well...)

We got the flywheel, clutch, bellhousing and starter on. Runout is .004", which is acceptable.

We also cut, welded and painted a throttle bracket so the throttle cable is properly in-line with a straight pull.

This car will run a sniper system, and it has a big, bulky coil. We mulled over replacing the coil, but elected instead to make a custom bracket that holds it behind the intake manifold. So far, so good. If we don't like it, we can merely unbolt it and replace the coil with a standard one in the front.

We are also messing with little stuff like cable routing. The sniper needs to know temperature, so we ran the cable from the throttle body under the manifold. We clipped it into place so it won't move. It will just have enough room to sneak around the distributor once that is in.

The K-member is in progress, and once that has control arms on and motor mounts ready, we will place the engine and transmission on the K-member. We will complete stuff like alternator, PS pump, etc. too. Then it will be time to get Barry's car to my house to complete the marriage between the car and engine assembly. Getting closer!!!

67 GTX engine is on the K member, and the transmission is now installed.
A lot more finicky stuff to mess with and verify, but progress is being made!
