just bought a 74 s.e. sun roof charger

Hey guys it's been awhile since I've been on here, but I wanted to share my new charger project with you guys , my wife made me but it (you'll probably never here that agen ) she says it's her car so at least I get to keep the 70 bb 4 speed car ,
The car has some cool options , sunroof ,cruise control , a.c, center console floor shifter and it was factory black with a black top and white with that gold and black plad seats , it is only a 318 car but it's for the wife so I guess it will do ,I got lucky $2100.00 and it has almost no rust let me know what you guys think here's some pics I'll get more tomorrow

With out a doubt keep the interior it may not be main stream but it is 70S cool.... The sunroof is your basic design and easily maintained and share many parts with other manufacturers and makes. Keep the Cragars I think you did well...

Yeah they don't make that upholstery anymore and someone might want it to put there car back stock and it's in mint shape ,
Also forgot to add car has all of its paperwork build sheet febder tag and all and oil change receipts and emissions test receipts from day one so it has documented miles 80k not low but low enough

I believe that interior is sales code E5YW Aztec Cloth. The 74 SE I picked up last year has that interior and I was not a big fan of it. My car came with the original window sticker and that option was $162.05 back in 74. Since it was original and special option, I decided to keep it. Ugly by today's standards but cool if you keep it. Good luck with build.

Oh and there's only two wheels the front two got lost after the front end was torn down there in bad shape anyways maybe I'll make a mail box stand out of them

Update car is here and off loaded found the fender tag , and looked the car over properly no rust in floor boards trunk pan trunk area ,doors hood ,trunk lid ,drivers fender or Sun roof area , a little spot on pass fender and small spots on both rear 1/4's and that's it this car is all there and in great shape I got one more pic I'll try for more and post them all at once
We (my wife) decided to paint it plum crazy leave the black top and do black upholstery some kind of black wheels 18" pro touring style leave the 318 and 904 leave the 2.71 gears and make a nice driver out of it for my wife , looks like most of every thing under the car was already replace with new parts and powder coated

That is a great deal, I know up north here i wouldn't think twice over the price if i had the money at the time, I love these generation Charger's, if i ever get the one im doing done and i cant find the one my wife likes most, i hope to have one of these! 71-75, i can live with, i love the body style! There's a few left down here I know where another 73 s.e. car is the guy has it tucked away I think he said he would take $2200 for it it's a nice car and I think it comes with hideaways after I get threw with the sun roof car 64 Newport ,73 duster and 70 charger I'll go and get it

Thanks yeah she's purity happy with it I have more pics I will start a resto tread when I get time to download the pics I had one just like it but big block and dual exhaust she made me sell it when we first met along with my 68 rt charger project now she fell in love with the s.e (I'm not a huge fan I prefer the non s.e. cars ) so I never look twice at s.e. cars unless it's a hell of a deal I was actually looking at a 72 rallye 340 auto charger but it was very rough, I left the search engine up and she started looking farther down the list and spotted it called the owner and then called my guy who hauls my cars for me then I was told we were going to get a charger get in the car I need you to haggle the price down ,so I did what any husband would do grab a bunch of $100's and got in the car she pritty much did everything haggled and all I supervised she got the guy down $500.00 and was trying for more but I told her to pay him before he realized what he was doing it's such a nice car the entire under side has been striped and powder coated along with all the mechanical parts and I just found out today the eng is fairly new so is the trans , the good news keeps on comeing with this one .

that engine color will be a good contrast to the plum crazy. Heck my RR is vitamin c and my engine is painted turquois (wife picked it)

Well she had a fit because I wouldn't let her get the Ford blue she liked I said it's got to be at least a mopar color ,I told her if we paint it Ford blue it will never want to start !
