k member an p/s

hi all just got my coronet home an starting to take her apart and I wanted to ask if anyone knows of aftermarket k member out there for a 66 QA1 says theirs won't work.
also has anyone used the borgeson p/s kit what did you use for p/s pump brackets in order to use the gm pump any help would be appreciated. Anthony

Yes it will. All your stock suspension components will bolt right on to it.
Cant help with the Borgenson box, but 65roadracer has the box on his ride.......look for his post's about it.

i just install a QA1 on my 66 coronet no problem + powersteering it was manuel +ididt steering column so for so good and i'm going with March power steering brackets .... I bought the car last fall it came with the parts to convert every thing but the powersteering brackets

I have the Borgeson unit on my 68 Charger but I am using the factory pump from the 6.1. As far as I know you could use your vintage pump. From what I understand. The reason to use the GM pump is if you have a modern Hemi, the pump has too much pressure and will blow seals on a vintage style PS gear box. Where as the GM pump has less pressure. The Borgeson box does not have a pressure issue that I know of.

thanks for the input I called mancini racing and they told me it would not wok on the early b body but I will go with someone who has used it with no issues so that will be added to my shopping list. And I want to use the signaw pump so their would be no problems with adaptors or return line issues and borgeson does have brackets for a small block why they don't have them for a big block is a loss for them but I will keep looking. Anthony

OH yes that is nice but way out of my comfort zone, but if I didn't have a wife watching my every move I would.
