Looking for pictures of FACTORY set up for a big block also the cable part on manifold.

They are in the service manual. You do have one?

On the small block the kickdown is solid....meaning no slot. If big block is the same, you may want to do it a different way for safety.

A friend has a SM, the bracket on manifold has a u-shaped bracket using one rod down to lever on trans. Carb end has an adjustable slide type affair with spring holding it forward. Thanks to all seems I found my answer
