Has anyone kept their factory gas tank on a '66-'67 B-body with the mini-tub mod and leaf sliders?

How did you route your gas filler tube?

I just finished installing leaf sliders in my 67 Coronet. It is mini tubed and now the modifications I made to the gas line filler tube for the mini tub will not work.

Has anyone already worked out a solution for this besides fabricating a gas tank, or putting one in the trunk. I want to keep the factory gas input at its original location.

Maybe route the filler tube through the leaf spring in front of the slider?

It has been to long since working with that tank configuration. If I rember correctly the tank all sets inside the frame rails. The mini tubes are flush with outsde of the frame rail and the fill tube comes through the floor behind the wheel tube. What required modifying the fill tube?

Where the gas filler tube went originally was under the frame rail nest to the spare wheel recess. After the mini tub, the mod is to notch the gas filler tube around the leaf shackle as shown in the pic. But now there is only 1" between the leaf and slider bracket, where as before, I had about 2 inches.
