Getting ready to order quarter panels for my sons 74 Charger and have a question.
I want to be sure on the side of the car, I have heard several ways the sides are called out.
Is it looking from front of car left and right. I know, stupid question but want to make sure.

Thank you in advance,
Moparmayhem

Drivers side is the left and passenger side is the right no matter which angle you're looking at the car.

Not if you where standing in front of the car as the op asked.

Wrong !!!! I was an auto mechanic for Over 20 years. An automobile has a left and right side just like your human body has a left and right side. It doesn't matter how you're looking at it. If your standing on your ******* head the left and right side are still the same...drivers side is the left and passenger side is the right.

No **** Marvin, did you even read my post ?. The side with the steering wheel is the left side, period! If your are standing in front of the car looking at it the steering wheel would be on the right side but it's not called the right side now is it? This is where the op needed some clarification. Look Marvin, if you got some problem with me due to your extreme political views don't bring that **** into other threads, no body needs that crap and it's a little bitch move.

Drivers side is left... Accept in those countries where they drive on the wrong side of the road...

It doesn't matter if the steering wheel is on the right side or the left side. If you're sitting in a car seat facing forward, your left is the car's left.

When there are left and right pairs of parts, Chrysler always numbered the left part with odd number and right side with even number.

I got in trouble while building a 426 Hemi years ago by accepting the odd/even adage. The pistons fit fine, until the heads go on!

I don't have any problem with you. I answered your post. You said I was wrong and I wasn't wrong an so I said so. Apparently you're the one with problem, YOU BROUGHT POLITICS INTO IT, NOT ME. GO TELL SOMEONE THAT GIVES A ****.

This is the USA we don't build cars with right hand drive. In the auto business in the USA the drivers side and left side are interchangeable terms. As are passenger side and right side.

Marvin, Marvin calm down buddy. Nobodies trying to take anything from ya, we all know you worked really hard on the whole "Left-Right" thing. You got yourself a little confused regarding the angle of view and such but it's ok, no reason to lash out and yell.

It matters not which side you drive on, my statement regarding left and right sides of the car are still valid. There are international members on this forum and over 80 countires drive on the left. As for no RHD cars, don't tell that to any postal workers who drive RHD Jeep Wranglers.
