Non original.. 440 auto.. 8 3/4 with 2.76 gears.. painted viper red back in 96, its got a lot of stone chips from driving the radial TA's off it every summer... makes 298.8 HP at the rear wheels and laid down a 14.01 at 98mph loaded full of spare parts, suitcase briefcase, laptop and my less then anorexic self, on street tires through a full exhaust on 87 octane fuel... while still managing to give me 14 - 15 US mpg on the highway!

It ain't perfect.... but it's perfect for ME!
Hope you like!

Thanks for sharing the car looks awesome and the Cragars look really good on those cars.

her is my 67' GTX, and it has been in the family since 2000. There are some nice 67's on the post!

Me too... I have not put up anything in awhile so here is where it is at today.. The 66 T bird tail lights fabrication work is finished, the 66 Charger headlight/grille install is finished, the fender noses being swept back was finished but I tore apart the left side as I was not happy with it and am awaiting parts, 2/3rds of the outside body is sanded and primed, the fake scoops on the quarter panels have been opened up and the lead ins curved down into the body leaving kidney shaped openings that will have Stainless wire mesh to finish, the hood has been separated from the frame and sanded and primed inside and resandwiched, the hood has had stiffener bars welded to both outer edges inside the frame, the hood has been sliced at the front 8 inches to make a header panel, the 2002 Audi dash has been test fitted and the mounts created, one rear well is tubbed, and the interior doors and roadster panel have been mocked up, and the 70 Road runner rear bumper has been widened and fits well, a 65 Coronet bumper is about to be purchased for the front.. All in all it has been a satisfying winter so far.

Yes I do. It now has a pump-gas hemi in it. It also has license plates, full exhaust, insurance and full lighting.

That thing is awesome!!! I've been toying with the idea of painting mine silver....you just may have convinced me there is no other color!

Thanks, I have another hemi-car project coming up. I may paint it silver like the rest of my stuff...unless it does have significant history.

Would you mind telling me what color that it's exactly??? I've always preferred the aluminum/platinum types of silver as opposed to the more grayish silvers.
Thanks for sharing mm!

Super clean ride thanks for showing us very nice.
Thanks for the thread, I like all Mopars but am partial as well to the 66-67s. There are a lot of cool cars that have given me inspiration to achieve something greater... Well at least to the extent I can afford!!!!

Thanks Mike! I have been out of the garage lately but am getting the itch to do stuff again so more progress soon!

So what do y'all think?

Blackwalls with Dog Dish Caps or White Letters with no Dog Dishes?

I've got White letters with Dog Dishes and thinking about changing it up.
