...and crazy faded paint considering the 63-65 nova wagon in the next bay and all the 65-67 fords in "ford country" next door.

No dip in centre of rear seat means it is bench seat car; so, Belvedere II. I have seen a lot of variations of bright trim on these cars. Most ordinary is the trim on the tops of doors and fenders, above character line. Another option is the deletion of this trim, in favour of GTX-type trim, which includes wheel well moldings and lower sill moldings. Yet another variation is both of these treatments on the same car. My friend has a1967 Belvedere II with this variation. His car also had bright trim on the tops of the doors and rear quarters, at the window openings. I have never seen this before on a hardtop; usually on convertibles. But this is the first picture I have seen with the additional Satellite trims on the lower fenders and doors. This trim on a Satellite served as a paint break for the Silver paint applied to Satellites

Still cant figure the paint out on the one in the photo tho.

Yeah, you have to listen to the '66-'67 B-bodies when filling. They are pretty burpy.
