She just got transferred there. Looking for options. Plus no state tax and property tax is one of the lowest in the country.

"Property tax" on homes cheap, BUT cars, motorcycles, etc.... may be taxed as property like VA, RI, MASS, KS, Don't just look at house taxes

It still has t he small town appeal. The area is still fairly rural. The choptank River is the site of many fun things to do. As an aside the whole eastern shore of md is a fun place. Lots of activities and festivals based around the bay and its harvests

It’s not bad it’s a growing area. Summer time traffic on main roads gets bad.while your in town you might want to head to ocean city Maryland for the spring cruise.

Look into electricity rates in Milford vs. surrounding towns. Milford was more expensive at the time, although it might have changed.
