I am importing - into Japan - my 67 Satellite and there is a laundry list of things that I need to answer. I have found 1/2 the information online but I am stumped by the following (any help would be greatly appreciated):

1. What locations is the VIN/serial number stamped onto the chassis?
2. Vehicle weight on front wheels, vehicle weight on rear wheels (I have total weight all 4 wheels at 3,535 lbs.).
3. Passenger capacity in lbs.
4. Max loading capacity in lbs.
5. Gross Vehicle Weight (would that be number 2 ~ 4 above combined?).
6. Is the Master Cylinder considered Tandem or Dual?
7. Does the brake light indicator come on due to fluid level or pressure indifference?
8. Stopping performance - at what speed (front disc/rear drum) to distance?
9. Is the side and back glass laminated or toughened (that's the descriptive words from the form)?
10. Is there a "blow-by gas" recirculating system or device standard on the vehicle?
THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME !!!!

1. The stamped the SO number on 66-68 cars, not the VIN so in those years the fender tag is verified to the body numbers
2. I'd go 55% front, 45% rear
3. I'll have to look in my '66 Coronet owners manual for that one.
4. Personally I'd write something like "no fat chicks" on this line. (Seriously, I'll look in the owners manual for you)
5. Please refer to #3 and #4.
6. 1967 should have a dual circuit braking system.
7. Yes, there should be a wire that connects to the distribution block mounted on the frame below the master cylinder.

8. "d. We ordered the disc brake option, wanting all the stopping power we could get to go with the Hemi's go power, and found the brakes to be very satisfactory. Directional stability was good, and our stopping distances were right around 274 ft. (.78 G), a perfectly acceptable figure, considering the mass of the car. We did encounter fade once, early in our braking tests, which we attributed to "green fade," a phenomenon that new brake pads go through once before they settle down. Afterwards, we experienced no fade in five successive panic stops from 80 mph." quoted from " http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews...strumented-test-review-a-racing-engine-page-2 "

9. Yes, the read window is tempered and the windshield is laminated for safety.
10. Only on California emissions, however this could be easily changed by routing the breather hose to the air cleaner. Let me know if you need air cleaner specs/pics.

I'll get out to the shop after some snow removal and get you some more answers. Hopefully some of this helps!
