I'm looking at my LM2 installation (O2 sensors A/F ratio) Looking for any one who has done this. Looking for installation placement ideas. Not so much how, as where?

Mechanic, I've got the sensors in. Just looking for advice on wire routing, location of on off switch, where to place the lead for the display, ect.

I just stick mine in the car when I’m tuning. No need to leave it in permanently. I ran mine through a hole in the floor. Buddy of mine runs his up the rocker and in between the door and body. He just uses tape on the wires.

I did consider using a relay and making the lighter key on only powered. Haven’t done it yet though.

I thought about running the lead through the floor and under the carpet to just behind the buddy seat. That way I could plug it in to use and be close to where I need it. Then just unplug it and slide the lead under the buddy seat.

Just keep in mind you have to pull the sensors when not using them.

The O2 sensors need to be powered up if they’re in and the engine is running. I ran the LM1 for a long time and finally went to the DLG-1 because those LM’s are so bulky. BTW, don’t drop that hand held on the concrete floor.....
