A real live power window motor that fits a 1967 Dodge Coronet 500. Bolt right up. from the looks of it anyway. Only $38.99 or 24.95 if you let them send crap to your e mail address..lol. Fits any door. I like. 4 Please...

Not sure about 66/67, but for 71-74, the motors interchange all the way to the M body.

They have one extra or one less mounting hole (I forget) but does not affect fit.

They are also swapped left to right.

I'm guessing that I'll have to drill out the rivets holding the crank sprocket against the fan teeth of the lift frame. And, assuming that the motor will mount up to the same holes. I can fabricate the mounting some I guess. I'll need to figure out the plug up of the motor between this plug and the Audi harness plugs to the window switches.

upon further examination, these are NOT for my car. They are just general fit for many cars. The mounting holes will not line up at all.

You have to be careful about this sort of search.

Those bastards writing up lists of cars will include every possible brand & model they can think of...just for Click-bait.

Trust me, I have been caught out several times....and my shipping costs & time are a lot more spendy than you guys.

If I was looking, I would go to an auto wrecker/recycler. Take an old motor along and compare them.
Whatever they were, it was a direct bolt in. Might have had to change the plug.
Also I think the 70’s and maybe 80’s half ton trucks and vans might have the same motors.
A friend put the 80’s style power window switches in his 66 Charger.
If you can find a Chrysler mechanic that worked in small town dealership back in the late 60’s and into the 80’s he might have the answer.

good luck with cheap Generic more problems then its worth China junk..

Something is often better than nothing, fly. Lol.

nothing?

do research and look around
this stuff is plentiful if you know what you are searching for.

Chrysler power window motors were also fairly universal. They were kind of confusing, though. Mopar convertible rear quarter window motors and station wagon tailgate motors used from 1960 to 1965 were Autolite units; however, the side doors used Delco motors. The Delco left and right motors were interchangeable; you would purchase a separate gear package to install depending on the side you needed to replace. Most 1965-’69 motors (and some ’70s) were the same while most post-’69 motors were also interchangeable. Here are the models where you can interchange motors for pre-’70 Chrysler products. Mopar original part numbers were 2520566 and 2520567 (among many others):
1968-’70 Charger; 1969-’70 Super Bee, GTX, Road Runner
1965-’68 Chrysler full-size; Dodge Polara, Monaco; Plymouth Fury, VIP
1965 Custom 880; 1966-’70 Coronet, R/T, Belvedere
1967-’68 Imperial

Here are some post-’69 Chryslers that have interchangeable motors. Original part numbers were (among others) 2802787 (L) and 2802788 (R):
1976-’80 Aspen, Volare four-door
1970-’74 Challenger, Satellite, Road Runner, Charger and ‘Cuda
1971-’74 Coronet; ’75 Coronet four-door models
1977-’81 Diplomat, LeBaron four-door models
1969-’73 Polara, Imperial, 300, New Yorker, Newport, Fury, Monaco
1977-’78 Monaco; 1979-’81 St. Regis
1980-’87 Dodge pickup, Ramcharger, Van, Plymouth Trailduster
1983-’88 Fifth Avenue; 1984-’88 LeBaron four-door models
1979-’82 New Yorker
1975-’78 Fury four-door models; 1980-’88 Gran Fury
1987-’88 Sundance two-door

Thank you very much. This needs to be a sticky. This info should be kept from becoming obscure. This will simplify my search, thanks a bunch Flypaper. In retrospect, I too should have checked with Hemmings first..Ghost.

that info has been floating around the net for decades.
it helped me putting together my 71 pw
made it easy finding working motors
swapped them out of a c body

also if you search around on this site
there is a really good article by a member on rebuilding the motors
its really not that hard
I think the guy found the brushes on Amazon.
it seems that is what wears out on the motors
the later motors are easy to find cores or rebuilt/new ones
even delco carried them.
I have a pile of later cores and a extra rebuild delco motor.
(among others) 2802787 (L) and 2802788 (R)
I don't know the difference between them and the earlier ones

the black cardones look like the delco motors
the dorman is china copy

I think i'm going to order one of the black a1 cardone units and see if it is doable. The part number matches the first 4 numbers on the list 2520....that's a start anyway...lol. If it doesn't work, pffft...38 bucks big whoop.

Question, Which one do you use for a tailgate? Rh or LH. Sorry I know this is an old post but I'm just now getting into the tailgate on the new wagon project. My motor is frozen and the gear set is missing inside the case. Id love to stay original but if I can get the whole unit in one shot this would make my life just a lil better! TIA

Tailgate? Not sure what yer doing. This motor is for a door window.....
