Looking for a hot wire during key on and crank

No longer using ballast but the blue and brown merge into a female spade, on one side, now using CDI and FAST ECU, I struggled finding crank&run on same wire so wired toggle to supply volts for both, but still use key to crank..Kept my original wires for the coil. but not using so should those wires have volts if no longer connected thru ballast or to coil ?
The OP indicates a ’72. To clarify, previous to ’71 the short wire run from the ballast resistor to the coil was also dark blue and is doubled up with the brown ballast by-pass wire (Ign2 at the ballast resistor) with ign1 (dark blue) is on the other side of the ballast. ’71 and up this ballast to coil run was changed to a brown wire, double brown wire on one side of the ballast and the dark blue (Ign1) on the other. Never did understand why Chrysler would change color coding in segments of the same circuit, examples are throughout these electrical systems.

Again, if not running a ballast resistor, the two wires/circuits that ran to each side of the resistor can be connected together for a combined crank and run power source.
