We are restoring my daughters 1973 340 RR. We are just about ready to Primer. She has seen this 1973 orange RR posted many times on the web and loves the color. Would anybody know of it or what the paint code might be? Thanks much!

It looks like Vitamin C, which I believe is code K2.

Is that available yet? Is that what would ask from PPG industries? Our body man showed us a 69 chrysler orange 999 ( Brand code: 60436 ) from PPG industries I believe. It didn't look too bad but this car on the web just caught her eye. Thanks much.

here's the 73 codes, well some of them anyway

If her car wasn't originally orange, just take her to an auto paint store, and look at orange paint chips. She can pick out what she likes.(in my worthless opinion... that looks like omaha orange to me, 68-early69 color.)
If you want the correct 73 orange , just about any decent paint shop should be able to mix what you want.

She kind of likes that straight Orange 60436 (999). I like the Vitamin C. Got to be her choice though. I see the 60436 is available at PPG. Is there a crossover number for Vit C for PPG industries?

This is the ‘69 999 orange. Paint was PPG. Many years ago now but hasn’t changed. Looks like the photos you posted.

There were rwo versions of orange on the 69s (at least on the roadrunners). If i remember right, the 999 omaha was more orange than the later k2 vitamin c, which has more red in it. I know yours is a 73, but there is a vid on you tube that shows all 24 , 1969 roadrunner colors, ON 69 runners. A good way to scan them all, to see what you might like on your car.
