Loose driver side wing window.

My 70 RR has a problem I'm sure many of you have encountered and that is a wing (or vent) window that blows shut when driving. Due to the fact that the driver side sees more useage, the problem is more common on that side of the car.

My question(s) are these. Does anyone know if the problem lies in the little pivot that is attatched to the glass, or is the problem with the frame that the pivot is inserted in? If it is the pivot, are these made aftermarket? I know that you can buy the entire kit from Tony's Parts but l really don't need the entire kit, my frames and glass are in decent shape.

Also, if anyone has come up with a viable option for tightening up that pivot, I'd love to hear it.

They can be tightened up but you have to remove the frame from the door to get to the screw. You may be able to pull the door panel and get to it with a offset screwdriver
