I have a master cylinder that appears to have metric threads for the brake lines. According to the web after the 80’s sometime Mopar and others started using metric threads on the master cylinders. The power brake assy. I have is new (came with car) and I don’t know it’s origin. I’ve looked for adapters but can’t seem to find the size. I think I need M-10 to 1/2”-20 and M-12 to 9/16” 20.

Any thoughts from the group?

Thanks, 69RRMFF

It is probably rebuilt. That is a common practice to repair bad threads in old castings. Common with bleeder screws in calipers and wheel cylinders too. Just guessing.

Just find the inverted flare nuts that fit the master for 3/16 line and re-flare the lines. Myself I would get the correct master.
