Max Wedge fuel lines when using Edelbrock carbs in lieu of Carter 3447's or 3705's

Finally got the fuel system sorted out. The correct Fine Lines Kit ($74.07 + shipping) is: Part Number RPC6203OM (62-63 Mopar B-Body 413/426CID Wedge, w/ Edelbrock Dual 4BBL Carbs, X-Ram, Pump to Carbs Fuel Line Set; Steel). This is the correct set to use when you are running Edelbrock 1400 series, in my case I'm using 600 cfm 1405's for now but if I go with 750's or 800's it'll be plug and play. No directions come with the sets from Fine Lines, so I took pics to assist anyone else going this route. The factory 3447's & 3705's are too expensive for me; if my car was an original MW car, it would be worth it.

What did you use for the linkage on the throttle shafts? I didn't think stock a Edelbrock would hook up to the max wedge linkages? Facing the same issue here with possibly replacing my Carter 3705s with Edlbrocks.

This is the setup:
- A&A PN# MWCFF-2: Max Wedge Carb Fuel Fittings with Small Filters and 90 degree Elbows for 3705 and Most After Market Carter and Edelbrock Carbs (Pair)
- A&A PN#MWMK: master crossram linkage kit. You'll have to open up the carb ball stud holes a bit to get them to mount, just slightly undersize.
- Fine Lines PN#: 62-63 Mopar B-Body 413/426CID Wedge, w/ Edelbrock Dual 4BBL Carbs, X-Ram, Pump to Carbs Fuel Line Set; Steel
- I use a PB auto with a RMVB so I don't need a kickdown provision. If you're using the same or a manual, you'll need to trim the Edelbrock carb linkage kickdown mount because it hits the cross ram top. See this thread, post 144. The return of MAXIMVS...

Thanks for the details? Do the carbs work with four hole gaskets, or did you need an adaptor?

I used the A&A 1/4" 4 hole gaskets. PN# CPGT-2, no adaptor. If you need some spacers, I have a set of 4 hole 1/2" spacers. Carbs are the same bolt pattern as the 3705's as far as I know. I'm going to try the 1405's (625cfm) but I may go with 750's after I see how it runs.

OK. My concern was that the 1405s use an open single hole base gasket and they have primaries and secondaries that are different sizes. My carter 3705s use a four hole gasket that matches the wedge intake exactly. Wondered what happens when the vacuum passages on the edelbrocks get covered by the 4 hole gaskets when they would normally be open.

Open or 4 hole probably doesn't matter that much IMO. I'd use either one if I had it on hand. Easy enough to change out if there's a problem.
