I have heard so much about this site & finally found the time to join. I'll figure out this post thing in time & add all the facts & pictures about my 2 cars. The 1st 65 Belvedere II 2 door hardtop started as an original big block 4 speed car that I bought from the original family owners. The motor was replaced with 472 cid Max Wedge, Hemi 4 speed & 3.73 Dana 60. The car has been at E-Town, Atco, Island, Maple Grove & Carlisle. The 2nd 65 is a Belvedere I 2 door post car that has a complete genuine 426 Race Hemi built on Dec 14, 1964 backed by a Hemi 4 speed & 4.30 gears in an 8 3/4 rear. It is in for paint to be followed by the final assembly in early 2011.

Can't wait to have the Hemi car complete after a 4 year project.

Very nice, welcome to the site, can't wait to see the other one as it gets finished.

Welcome, Gene. Great cars!

I know the car very well, we talked at Carlisle back in 08.
Welcome aboard. I love the car.

Thanks for the warm welcome

It was so nice to hear from friends from the past & I look forward to meeting new ones in the future. Sorry the picture of the hemi was incorrect, but I have the right one now. Enjoy.

64-65 Spark Plug Wires

The tan/brown bakelite insulators are very tough to find, the black top tube seals are around. I could make a set with the plastic street hemi insulators & all straight ends at the distributor. I use wire with a very low resistance, 150-200 ohms per foot & just the right color. Let me know what you want.
