Yesterday we almost got the Lawndart fired up. We installed the exhaust system on it,installed the fuel tank with new hoses and sending unit. We pushed it outside and put the necessary fliuds in it,cranked it until it had oil pressure,and lit it off. It fired up briefly then the sky opened up and a full blown downpour ended our day!

Then we went to look at a friends 73 Road Runner with a 440 4 speed in it. He thought the rear main seal was bad. It turned out to be the oil pressure sending unit leaking from just below where the wire slides onto it. The oil was running down the back of the block and dripping off the bellhousing dust cover. Thankfully an easy fix. O Reilly autoparts had one for 34 bucks!

A high impact colored Mopar,with stripes scoops emblems and dual exhaust tips,and dork dish hubcaps on crappy painted wheels with skinny white wall tires,is fooling no one into believing the car is a sleeper......just saying!
