Milodon's site says this pan will fit later model B's (66 and newer to a point) but the Summit site says differently unless you dig deeper then they seem to contradict themselves. Anyone have 1st hand experience with this pan on 66 and newer cars?

Sorry I don't think that I haven used that specific # pan,
BUT it looks allot like an older Milodon pan, I had back probably some 30 years ago,
it had a really deep sump, it had ground clearance issues, is what I remember
not any fitting issues that I can remember offhand anyway...

I have an older Milodon 7qt pan that's only 7" deep old Part #MRE71172 from Mancini racing,
Looks allot like this one http://www.summitracing.com/parts/mil-30930 #30930
for 66-70 B body triangulated sump for better ground clearance, it's marginal, but it fit well...

that one you listed is 7.750" deep it'd be really low & close to the ground,
even if only another 0.750" that's really low, too close for comfort

That same #31010 Milodon pan listing say the same thing on Mancini Racings site too
http://www.manciniracing.com/mibheap1.html

sorry not much help with the fitment stuff

good luck

Cranky, i'm running the 30930 pan, the center link is close but clears on my 67 gtx you should have no problems the 31010 is a little deeper i gotta put a skid plate on mine over the winter every time i go over the railroad track crossing i pucker ;-) _DSC2336-001.jpg

my catalog says '59-'73 vehicles. the sump is far enough back to fit an early chassis and if it's 9" long it will fit a later. 7 3/4" deep; will knock the heads off of worms if your not careful. i built an 8" backsump once; didn't work well with manhole covers.
