Mini-split AC for garage.

They make a flare gasket (FlareMate) which I hear works well. They are pretty simple. But yes, 220v would be my choice.

The most I was able to pull on a home system was around 340 microns.
The gaskets work great! I had a hard time getting mine to seal properly and the gaskets took care of the problem. Going on three years with them in service and no problems

I put a copper flare gasket on a leaking power steering fitting, they work great

Anyone in the desert SW have a mini-aplit AC in their garage?
I'm considering one...and probably a DIY project...except for the electrical...(they come pretty set up lately).

3 car roughly 25x32 with a 9.5' ceiling.
I'm coming up with like 24k for BTUs.

Any experience welcomed
I am in S.W. Ontario, so not quite the same heat load as you, but I will see 100 deg.f days in the summer. My shop is 26' x 48' with 10' ceilings, very well insulated. I have a 24000 btu Mitsubishi unit for cooling only. It is more than enough capacity and I only utilize it in the humidity reduction mode. That keeps it at approx. 72 deg.f.

With a temperature/dewpoint spread usually 70 degrees apart...no need for dehumidifing at all! Lol

HVAC system for living area of the house actually has a humidity ADDER!

I have 30x40 fully insulated here in GA and cool it with a 24,000 window unit. Will take it down to 70 if I wanted to let it run. Set it to about 77 and it works great. The trick is air movement as I have a 18" dia x 18" wide squirrel cage fan mounted at the ceiling that moves an enormous amount of air. With it and the ac running it will cool down the shop from 90 in a couple of hours.

My shop is 20x40 with 13' walls and lots of extra overhead volume. It is very well insulated, and has two huge ceiling fans - the heat pump keeps it toasty in the winter and chilly in the summer. Love that thing, I can work out there in any kind of weather and be comfy.
