NICE models guys!!!!!!!!

I am working on a few right now, none of them complete but.....they will be! I do however got a few complete 1/4th and 1/6th scale models of motors, both Hemi's tho.......... And I got a second 1/4th scale Hemi to complete.....

I'd love to find me a 1/24th - 1/25th scale 225 Slant 6.....I'd trade a complete V-8 Mopar OR any needed parts I have to trade for a complete slant 6 model motor......I got TONS of tires and rims too!

For $64...a 1/25 slant six was included in what kit?

I have one, and it wasn't too difficult...

$64 for a complete 1:24th scale model that I'll build? I want one but not for that price!

The cars that had them were made by Lindberg. The 1964 Dodge 330 (NOT the race car model, but the "Street" model, that same kit ALSO came with a 426 Max-Wedge in it! The Lindberg 1964 Plymouth Belvedere also had a slant 6 in it, I'm not sure if this one came with 2 motor choices tho.....I'd love to trade a some model parts for just the slant 6 motor so I could build it for a Dodge truck I want to put it in....

Hmm. Guess you get the $64, but mine came from the Deora kit.

IIRC it had chrome long tube velocity stacks on sideways!

That's the only one I've ever seen.

I have both Lindberg 64 Polara and Belvedere kits, but they're the Nascar versions. No six in either.

I'd like to find a model kit with the ramcharger truck

That's why you didn't get the choice of 2 motors in those kits. ONLY the "street" car version of the 1964 Dodge 330 and the Belvedere (same year) came with a slant 6....The 330 also had the 426 "Max-Wedge" in it to make then "Color Me Gone" race car, and a few others of that time period...

I never thought it be so difficult to find a couple slant 6 models! LOL I got one that I know of, but in need of a at least one more, (I think I get the one, I'm gonna mold the whole damn thing!) in kit form!

Snake,
I am looking for a few of those, BUT I don't have Paypal as most want for payment on Ebay so, I don't bother most the time, which sucks for me but, I got no credit card to use for such anyway....

But thanks for posting that!

Isn't the Deora reissued?

I'd be interested to know if it's got a slant.

Mine also had the funky turtle shell like camper topper.

I think most of you have seen mine.but here's a few

Great dioramas, metal bee! I used to be big into 1/35 scale military, tank dioramas and such..never thought to do dios for cars with weathering. Thanks for sharing. Makes me want to build my RR in 1/25 scale and put the weathered beater EV2 on it.

Yes the new released Deora does have a Slant 6 in it.....Something isn't right with the servers on my photo hosting site or I'd post you a link to the newest release instructions!

OK,
I'm back to square one, someone posted about me looking for "Mopar engine Turquoise" So please if you know of the company that makes this color, please some time ago and said something about using "Detroit Diesel Blue" and said the company that made/produces it, but I'll be damned if I can remember where I seen it, here, or on FABO.....

So, please, if you know who makes this color that's almost if not a dead-on color match to the Mopar Turquoise for some models I'm building, let me know in a PM....

I'm also posting this on FABO as well......

If your looking for the engine paint that color I may have a can of it at the shop. I will look at it for a name and part # if you like ?

I sure would appreciate it if you would! I want o model a few "Mopar engines" in the Turquoise color but finding a match seems to be a real PITA! BUT, I have too if I want to put the models I'm building in high-end contests.....

OK time to bump this thread up (took 10 minutes to find it.....)

Any mods watching these........? I'd think we'd do well with a "Models General" forum section, wouldn't be real busy BUT......Be easier for those of us adding to them, to keep them going!

Any interest? I'd take a Moderator to it, if needed!?
