Modern Bullitt build

I love them wheels!!!!!!!!!!

Very cool idea and execution. I also dig the wheels.

I de-torsion bar the charger, as I’m going to use RMS coilover front suspension.
Thanks
Pat

Added a cross member just forward of the leaf spring mounts.Used a 2” x 1 ¼” “C” channel cut and welded to fit in the floor tunnel underthe rear seat. This should add additional rigidity to the chassis withoutimpeding the driveshaft. Torque boxes are next.
Thanks
Pat

Very nice work! Who did the wheels for you?

EVOD industries built the wheels and they were great to work with! They did about a half a dozen renderings and allowed me to critique them and make changes along the way. I will use them again on the next project.
thanks

Assembled the shocks using anti-seize and chased the threadson the upper control arms. Nice working on clean new stuff instead of old rustystuff.
Thanks

This car is gonna be disgustingly sick!!!!!

It was triple green 318 car originally. I tracked downthe original owner and he sent me pictures of the car when he bought it alongwith all the history, nice man!

Just came across your thread. Very nice work! BTW, I used to own an exact twin to your car, the same triple green, 318. Did the original owner say anything about the car changing hands in ND or MI? I bought it used in '69 and traded it for a new Challenger in '71.

I actually bought this car from the second owner and the car never left Virginia. I'm not sure what the production numbers were for green chargers But I bet it was one of the more popular colors of the time.
Thank you!
Pat

Picked up the new motor for the charger and watched a few pulls on the dyno yesterday at Indy Cylinder Head. The folks at Indy were great accommodating our dyno session and pick up on a Saturday.

The motor spec are, Aluminum 6.1 GEN 3 block that has a 4.125 bore and a 4.050 stroke, which makes it 433 ci. The crankshaft and H-beam rods are from Comstar. Diamond pistons are 10.5 to 1 and the 6.1 heads are fully CNC. Comp cam Hydraulic roller cam .572/.576 with .240/.244. MSD ignition and Fast EFI dual throttle bodies.

On 92 octane she had an average of 635 hp and 536 Lb ft of torque.
I'll post a few pictures later today

Thanks
Pat

I spy the distinctive black cardboard box from hydratech! Aside from, well, everything, your build is just like mine! (well, RMS suspension, same Wilwood brakes, hydraboost, and a gen III hemi, at least).

That's an awesome car.
