Merry Christmas everybody!
I have found a good 70 charger project car that I'll intend to buy. It Needs a new vinyltop and I was thinking Gatorgrain then I rembererd the cool modtop material. Never seen a charger with the floralroof..Any pics? Will it be cool or look like ****? Where to get the material?

Not many out there to find images of but here is a Daytona, and a Big Foot... Both are rare.

Given the choice of the two I would go with the gator grain, but the mod top would certainly get more attention. The 69 F6 green looks better with the green mod top than the F8 does.

I dont think I ever seen any old mopars with Mod tops . Was it a. Special order thing? Or to certain Dealerships?

Pretty sure the dealerships gave out LSD to customers. Thats pretty much the only way the mod tops would have been sold. Unless it was to a chick can't imagine a dude asking for it unless it was Liberace or Charles Nelson Reilly.

I think the mod top stuff is best left for the bell bottomed hip-hugger
girls with a VW Beetle or Bus.

Gator grain? Maybe a distributor like Legendary Interiors will send you a small swatch / sample so you can evaluate it for the grain / texture and color. I've only seen pictures of the gator grain top. The color looked odd on my cellphone.

What color is the car? What is the top color?

Have a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
