Looking for this tool to align shifter.Thanks.
just use a 1/4" bolt about 3" long. Worked for me.
Hello.Thanks.I am looking for this tool specifically.
Waste of money unless you want it for nostalgic reasons !!
Appropriate thickness philips screwdriver works, but I have an oddball allen wrench that has the perfect 90* ell that works great, like this: http://www.brewersperformance.com/proddetail.php?prod=H1725
I believe I used a drill bit.
Somehow you have a pic of my tool on my work bench . I do use it, but agree with the others that it surely isn't necessary. I have seen them come up on ebay before. C-3951 if you need the #.
I was also wondering if that tool is still available. The reverse lever on my factor shifter #6353 does not have an alignment hole. Just the 1/2 and 3/4 levers are drilled. The picture shows a aftermarket Hurst Competition Plus shifter on the right, which the reverse lever is drilled. The one on the left is the factory Hurst shifter #6353, which the reverse levers were not drilled.
Yes.This is what I have as well.No hole in the reverse to put anything through all three to line them up. Thanks.
Someone sent me this pic on a post I had last month on how to align the shifter arms. Im trying to find one.Thanks.
I see. It works just as well if you pull all 3 levers back so they are flush with the notch in the shifter housing. Then you don't have to worry about the missing hole in the one lever.
