Looking for this tool to align shifter.Thanks.
Hello.Thanks.I am looking for this tool specifically.just use a 1/4" bolt about 3" long.
Worked for me.
Somehow you have a pic of my tool on my work bench . I do use it, but agree with the others that it surely isn't necessary. I have seen them come up on ebay before. C-3951 if you need the #.Looking for this tool to align shifter.Thanks.View attachment 971429 View attachment 971430
Yes.This is what I have as well.No hole in the reverse to put anything through all three to line them up. Thanks.I was also wondering if that tool is still available.
The reverse lever on my factor shifter #6353 does not have an alignment hole.
Just the 1/2 and 3/4 levers are drilled.
The picture shows a aftermarket Hurst Competition Plus shifter on the right, which the reverse lever is drilled. The one on the left is a factory Hurst shifter. which the reverse levers were not drilled.

Someone sent me this pic on a post I had last month on how to align the shifter arms. Im trying to find one.Thanks.Somehow you have a pic of my tool on my work bench . I see. It works just as well if you pull all 3 levers back so they are flush with the notch in the shifter housing. Then you don't have to worry about the missing hole in the one lever.Someone sent me this pic on a post I had last month on how to align the shifter arms. Im trying to find one.Thanks.
