Since the Nats was cancelled I decided to request a refund using their online form. I submitted it on August 2nd. On the form it says, "Please allow 5 to 6 weeks for Processing/Delivery". It's now been 3 months. I have sent several e-mails to the refund e-mail address as well as their general e-mail address. A call always ends up in voice mail. I have received no replies.
Has anyone requested a refund and received one?

Nope. I sent mine in 9/17 and got nothing so far.....

Same here, sent the refund form immediately after cancellation and haven't heard a damn thing. Not surprised either. Typical of NATS management.

My check was never cashed, but still, since it hasn't been returned it could possibly be cashed later on.

put a stop on check

I don't believe that's necessary in this case. The fee for stopping the check is like $40, the check itself is only for $75. I don't think they have any intentions of cashing the check or they would have done so prior to the show being cancelled. They had the check for at least two months before the show was cancelled. This tells me they were VERY aware of the possibility that COVID would cause the show to be canceled and they were "holding" the entry checks without cashing just for that reason. If they don't cash them, they don't have to issue refunds later. Regardless, I would feel better with the check returned to me instead of it being "out there somewhere" in limbo.

So, stopping the check is just more hassle than its worth. $35 is chump change.

true, but don't think they'll waste money on stamps.
was going to reserve golf cart for 300+ they said No refunds, so i bailed

I think I'm screwed. Since I race and stay at the track, my entry was $225. They have a about a three week deadline to preregister and it always took a long time to for the check to clear. This time I was going to beat that by getting a postal money order. Now I'm trying to find the money order receipt from Mid June.

I finally got my refund today. I guess printing a 4-5 week turn around on the refund form was just window dressing.
Ok, I'll quit complaining now.

Ohio to Ohio took that long. Guess I may be another week or two..

I will state this. Jim is a honorable guy, and will make everyone whole. Believe, he is not holding on to your cash to make 1% at the bank. It's classic mom and pop business model, and everyone will need some patience.
